Welcome To Jasmina Charleston's Portfolio

My first love was putting pen to paper. My kindergarten teacher wrote "special ability in art" on my report card. I realized when I was older I could make a career out of my creativity. After years picking up knowledge from UBC, the Emily Carr University of Art + Design and the Art Institute of Vancouver, I launched my career as graphic designer by working in print shops, design studios and eventually freelance. I learned that design is about attention to detail, many revised proofs, and many more last-minute changes. In addition to graphic design, I am starting to delve into the world of fine art again by first drawing in ink and then digitizing the drawings (see Jasmina Charleston Creative on this site). Currently based in South Surrey/White Rock, I enjoy walking my dog through the forest, drawing nature in pencil and charcoal, and watching movies with my husband and children.
